Job Overview
Veterans Alliance is hiring experienced Avionics Technicians to support OEM, completions, and assembly operations in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity offering competitive pay and weekly per diem.
This role is ideal for technicians with strong experience in rotary-wing or OEM environments, particularly those skilled in wire bundle assembly, installation, and modification.
Responsibilities
- Assemble, modify, and install wire bundles, conductors, and electrical components
- Perform avionics installations and system integrations during completions and assembly
- Route, secure, and terminate wiring harnesses to specification
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and avionics systems
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals
- Conduct system checks and ensure proper functionality
- Ensure all work meets OEM, safety, and quality standards
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of avionics experience – REQUIRED
- Experience in OEM, completions, or aircraft assembly environments – REQUIRED
- Strong experience with wiring, harness installation, and modifications – REQUIRED
- Experience on rotary-wing aircraft or OEM platforms – PREFERRED
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must pass background check and drug screening
Compensation & Details
- Pay: $28.00 – $40.00/hr (based on experience)
- Up to $1,520/week (max) must qualify
- Contract Type: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire
- Platform: Rotary or OEM Aircraft
- Shifts: 1st and 2nd shift openings available
- Interview Process: Phone or Virtual (some onsite may be required)
- Tools: No personal tools required
